I took my family of five to the the Odean Cinema recently for the first time in ages and I could not believe the Rip-off prices you charge the public for coke, popcorn etc.

There is absolutely no justification to charge these inflated prices except for the fact you have a captive audience. It would be cheaper for me to fill up my car with petrol as the price you charge for coke is more per litre. I can buy a litre of Coke in ANY of the supermarkets for under a £1.00. Superdrug does large bags of popcorn for 99p or less. How you can justify these massive mark-up's is beyond me.

I worked out if I purchased a small Coke and a small popcorn for each of my family it would add an additional £16.00 just for the popcorn - which I can buy in the highstreet for £4.95 making yours a rip-off 223% dearer.

I will be writing To Rip-Off Britain to make sure the details of your rip-off price is put on their website for all to see.

I note on your own site you quote no prices for food or drink. I wonder why? It's no doubt because nobody in their right mind would pay these prices! I wonder what price you charge for the same products in America? I can buy a 2 litre bottle of Branded coke for £1.32 from Tesco's with their own brand being cheaper.

It would be cheaper for me to hire the DVD of the film when it come out and buy everyone a pizza meal deal from Pizzaland. Then you wonder why cinemas are not full. I'll tell youwhy - because people are fed up being ripped off by companies like you. Then we have the price of crisps, you must be bloody joking! You must be laughing all the way to the bank. Pick & mix rip off, water £2 a bottle!!! Yeah right! Minstrels - and it goes on and on.....

A complete and utter con and profiteering - a rip off.
